The decoration in the apartment was absolutely lovely, dear. It had a charming and cozy feel, which made me feel right at home. The general areas of the hotel were also well-maintained and clean, making it easy for me to navigate around. As a senior woman, I appreciate when things are accessible, and I found this hotel to be very accommodating for people of my age.

I do wish the hotel had a few more amenities specifically catered to senior people, such as handrails in the bathrooms or grab bars in the showers. It would have made my vacation even more comfortable.

Our stay at Velvet Apartments was lit! The apartment was huge and had these sick cinema rooms where we had epic movie marathons! We also checked out St George's Hall, which was just a short walk away, and it was the perfect spot for some serious Instagram-worthy pics. The location was so rad, and we had a blast exploring the city centre and hitting up the Victoria Theatre, which was just a quick drive away.

Only thing we wished for was a little more party vibes. It would have been awesome if there was a bar or a chill spot to hang out with other young peeps.
